Duties:

• Captures, stores, distributes and categorizes various material science and nanotechnology research materials to populate and modify a scientific Oracle 9i/10 Application Server/Collaboration Suite and related databases to allow university researchers access to current topics and data related to advanced research projects.
• Develops customized networked research communications, including creation of experimental information modules, using state-of-the art algorithms for presentation of fine-grain visual results, to allow collaboration of researchers on material science and nanotechnology projects in a real-time global environment.
• Establishes security procedures to protect proprietary research results.
• Uses Tomcat, Apache Server, Oracle Portal Server and Web trend in performance of duties.
